The IceRock-08A fanless industrial tablet PC with 8 touch screen has been released.

The device, from IEI (ICP Electronics Inc), is powered by an Atom Z530P with full hardware acceleration and its high graphic performance supports H.264, MPEG1/2/4, VC-1/WMV9 high-definition decoding, eliminating the need for software decoding.

Other features include an ambient light sensor which automatically adjusts the brightness of the screen for optimum visibility and energy efficiency; eight programmable function keys to access frequently used applications with the touch of a button; a built-in 1.3 megapixel video intercom device for real-time communication with a webcam suitable for use in low-light situations; and the built-in G-sensor which automatically toggles between portrait and landscape display modes for more comfortable viewing.
