NEC has released the H2640 thermal imaging radiometric camera with a temperature resolution of 0.03°. The uncooled 640 x 480 focal plane array detector delivers 0.6 mrad instantaneous field of view with the standard 22° (H) x 16° (V) lens.
The camera also delivers a full 30 Hz frame rate with onboard memory for over 830 discrete images, ensuring users can capture high-speed thermal events.
For clearer problem highlighting, the device includes the visible and infrared ‘fusion’ feature. This simultaneously overlays the visible image with the thermal image for identifying thermal hot spots.
Four discrete isotherm band displays are available for pinpointing heat sinks and heat sources, while voice and text annotation for field recording of events is standard.
