iWOW TR-900 GSM/GPRS module is a cost-effective, full-featured module that provides a compact solution for swift system integration. It is compatible with new and existing platforms which require GSM/GPRS functionalities and is suitable for a wide range of Machine-to-Machine (M2M) applications.
Designed with enhanced power management, the TR-900 automatically enters a reduced operational state when idle, allowing for optimised power consumption. It also supports multiplexing protocol, allowing the creation of virtual ports that can be used to perform various GSM/GPRS activities concurrently.
Running on the Nucleus Real-time Operating System, the module is designed to support composite software applications. It features TCP/IP, UDP/IP and FTP for real-time data transfer via GPRS and is commonly used for remote monitoring.
Multiple configurations are available to provide greater flexibility in catering to users’ needs. Optional features include MMS stack and embedded programming that provide a versatile and flexible platform that facilitates customers’ application designs and development.
